Krokom Parish consists of seven congregations and has about 40 permanent employees. Working in Krokom Parish means becoming part of an organization with many different points of contact and activities in both small and large contexts.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and youth. You are a reliable person who takes responsibility and can plan and drive activities both individually and together with others. We would like you to enjoy working with theater, singing, and/or music. Here, you have the opportunity to use your creativity and develop tasks together with others.

Job Responsibilities

As an educator in Krokom Parish, you will work with children and youth aged 0-18 years, with a primary focus on youth aged 12-18 years, but all ages are included. The work includes, among other things:

• Confirmation work
• Youth activities
• Leadership training
• School church activities
• Collaboration with the municipality, schools, and other stakeholders

Qualifications

You are an educated parish educator, music or drama educator, or teacher.

You are a member of the Church of Sweden.

You have a valid driver's license (B) and access to your own car.

You have good computer skills.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Experience working in a parish is an advantage.

Evening and weekend work and camps are included in the position.

The position is primarily based in the congregations of Näskott, Aspås, Rödön, and Ås. A background check from the police will be requested before employment.
